Frequently Asked Questions

Our Service

As we offer a bespoke shutter service, the price will depend upon the options you choose. For example, Basswood shutters are more expensive than shutters made from Paulownia or UPVC. Our pricing will depend on the size of the shutters, the material used and the number of bespoke elements.

After you have contacted us, we will arrange a time to visit your property for a consultation where we will discuss your specifications and offer you our advice and ideas. We will give you a quote during the consultation. After you have agreed upon the quote, you will be required to pay a deposit. We will then install your shutters and the remaining payment will be taken. Finally, we will carry out a quality-check to ensure your shutters are to the high-standard we work to.

After your deposit has been received by us, it will take approximately 8-12 weeks for us to finish manufacturing and fitting them in your property ready for you to enjoy.

We are pleased to be able to offer our clients a guarantee of 5 years* for full parts and labour during which there will be no charge for fixing or replacing.

Our Shutters

Limits may occur where sizes are too small or too large, there are obstructions or on some inward opening windows. We can discuss your requirements at a consultation where we will talk you through your options.

One of the many benefits of shutters is that they are easy to clean. You can maintain the quality and look of your shutters by using a feather duster or dust cloth or for more persistent dirt, a damp cloth followed by a dry cloth. Clean from top to bottom.

We recognise that our clients want to see what we can do so they can think about their design and see the quality of our shutters. With this in mind, we always bring samples of our work with us to consultations and have images on our website to showcase some of our work.

Our Paulownia shutters are an environmentally friendly option. Paulownia is a fast-growing tree so it can be responsibly sourced and is FSC certified.
